At DTF Prints, we like keeping things quick, clear, and zero-stress. Below is our Turnaround and Shipping Policy, setting out exactly how our turnaround times and delivery work, so you always know what’s happening behind the scenes.
Turnaround Times
All turnaround times below are counted in business days: Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays.
1. DTF Printing Only (2–3 Business Days)
Fast and fuss-free:
- Business Day 1: We print your artwork.
- Business Day 2: We ship.
- Business Day 3: Courier delivers.
2. Printed Apparel (5–7 Business Days)
Because we don’t keep apparel stock on-hand, there’s a bit more choreography, but we keep it moving.
Here’s the flow:
- Step 1:
- We order your garment from our supplier.
- Orders placed before 12:00 go out the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:00 are processed the next business day.
- We also start printing your artwork on this day.
- Step 2:
- Supplier delivers the apparel to us (usually 3–5 business days).
- Final step:
- Once the apparel arrives, we apply your artwork and ship the next business day.
We’ll always aim to get orders out as fast as humanly possible.
Bringing your own garments? Application on garments you supply takes 5 to 7 business days, the same as printed apparel.
3. Rush Orders (When You Need It Yesterday)
Our normal turnaround is already quick. If you still need it sooner, we can rush two kinds of order. Rush is always subject to capacity on the day, so ask us before you order and we’ll confirm whether we can make it before you pay anything extra.

Good to know:
- Our rush promise: if we miss a rush time we’ve confirmed, we refund the rush fee in full.
- Rush speeds up our printing, not the courier. The Courier Guy Locker Service still takes 1 to 3 business days after dispatch. If you need faster delivery, ask us and we’ll quote a door-to-door courier separately.
- Print-ready means print-ready. Same-day rush only applies to artwork that doesn’t need converting. If your file needs work, we’ll tell you straight away and give you a realistic time.
- The rush fee is worked out on the print or order total before shipping, and is paid with your order or by a secure payment link.
- Rush turnaround counts business days only: Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.

We ship via The Courier Guy Locker Service — no waiting at home, no missed deliveries. Simply collect your order from a nearby The Courier Guy Locker Service locker at your convenience.

Free delivery on all orders over R1,000.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight.
Third-Party Providers & Delays
We rely on trusted third-party partners (couriers, suppliers, etc.) to complete parts of your order. While we do everything we can to keep things smooth and on schedule, some delays or issues are unfortunately outside our control.
That said, we’ll always try to assist, follow up, or intervene where possible to help resolve any problems quickly.
Returns Shipping (Supplier Policy Applies)
If you ever need to return an item, please note:
- Return shipping is at your own cost.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If a refund is processed, return shipping will be deducted from the refunded amount.
